General Washington ordered a brilliant retreat to Manhattan via boat, thus saving the Patriot Army from capture. Washington was the last to leave and many believe it was at that moment we set our course to victory. He demonstrated leadership - the troops now believed in their leader
Jalen Hurts
Jalen was demoted in college football’s ultimate game. He lost his job to Tua Tagovailoa in the national championship.
In response to that, Hurts stuck around Alabama last season to back up Tagovailoa, save the SEC Championship Game in relief of the injured, ineffective Tagovailoa, be an example for I-want-it-now teammates and get his degree.
DeeDee Trotter
Following her first Olympic gold medal at the 2004 Olympics, DeeDee Trotter returned to the 2008 Games hunting for another gold in the 4x400 meter relay. However, DeeDee was suffering from a knee injury at the time, and just as the team was moving from the warm-up area to the track, decided to withdraw from the event. After Asking herself if it would hurt her team's chances of advancing by trying to run when she wasn't at her physical best, she decided it would. DeeDee made the difficult decision to let one of her other teammates run in her place. This selfless action allowed her teammates to record a season-best time and win the gold medal.
